Commitment & Responsibility
Social commitment and responsibility mean more to us than just making a donation. This is why we are involved in the projects listed below out of our conviction and enthusiasm, and so that we can push ahead and pass on valuable experience true to our philosophy.
GreenLion Racing Team
Very promising! IQZ new sponsor of the GreenLion Racing Teams. IQZ GmbH has been the proud sponsor of the GreenLion Racing Teams at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal since the middle of 2014. The team, which now numbers 41 students, has been a firm part of the Formula Student racing series for many years, where students from various disciplines (mechanical engineering, economics, design as well a political science) pool their expertise and build their own racing car. The first model was developed in 2011 and has been continuously improved since then. Apart from an annual amount that is donated by IQZ, the GreenLion Racing Team can use the IQZ company car free of charge to bring the members of the team safely and reliably to their numerous events.

University sports
Work-Life-Balance – the Latin poet Juvenal knew what he was talking about: “Mens sana in corpore sano” (a healthy mind in a healthy body).
The IQZ made a donation in 2014 to buy new cycling vests and help support sports at Wuppertal university, which is also open to graduates.
In addition, the long-standing trainer and initiator of the indoor cycling courses Dr.-Ing. Andreas Braasch was honoured with the Golden Shoe of University Sports in 2014 for his extraordinary commitment and dedication to sports at the university
Start-up counselling at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal
Outstanding! From a Chair to a consulting company – this support program has been set up so that students, PhD students and university lecturers can better exploit the potential for university spin-offs. Since 1998, the Bergische Universität Wuppertal has provided the necessary funds through various publicly sponsored projects which led to companies such as the IQZ GmbH, who in turn are now supporting this initiative both financially and technically.
The IQZ supports the start-up counselling of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal for six years with an annual donation. The aim of this is to help maintain and extend the high level of quality of the start-up counselling. What’s more, the IQZ supports the start-up initiative with lectures and makes itself available as a contact person for potential young entrepreneurs.
